In September 2007, AAC Capital Partners spun-out from ABN AMRO Capital and reached a mutual agreement with ABN AMRO to transfer all Northern European buyout activities to the private equity investor. AAC Capital Partners is majority-owned by AAC Capital Partner’s executives. The firm has operations in the Netherlands, the UK, and the Nordic region and focuses on buyouts in the consumer, industrial and services sectors. AAC makes mid-market buyout investments. AAC Capital Partners is comprised of AAC Capital UK, AAC Capital Benelux and AAC Nordic. AAC Capital UK is in the process of winding-down operations, AAC Nordic operates on a deal by deal basis, and AAC Benelux closed AAC Capital Benelux Fund III in 2013.
