Amundi Private Equity Funds is operating since 1998 and today manages €6.98 billion through a variety of investment solutions in funds and funds of funds. The Direct Private Equity Team (15 professionals) is dedicated to the acquisition of shares in unlisted companies (in growth or transmission phases), while the Funds of Funds Team (21 professionals) are selecting and investing in more than 200 third-party funds in Private Equity (mainly European buyouts), Infrastructure, Private Debt, on behalf of large institutional separate accounts. As part of its active minority investment strategy (up to 49% of the company’s capital and a seat on the board of directors), Amundi PEF supports unlisted French and other European companies in their development of internal and external growth, shareholder developments and internationalisation thanks to Amundi's presence in 37 countries and our unique origination capacity. We look for companies with the impact of one of the five global megatrends identified: Technology, Demography, Environment, Globalisation, Societal Developments, essentially in France (70%) and the rest of Europe (30%). These companies must generate revenues of more than €30m and less than €1.5bn. A project of organic or external growth consistent with a quality management team is paramount. Lastly, it is necessary to have a history of profitability as well as solid financial fundamentals.
