AVG Capital Partners was formed in 2007 as the re-branded successor to Avangard Asset Management, a Russian asset management company. AVG is largely focused on, but not limited to, investments in Russian agriculture. The firm have invested in meat and greenhouse vegetable production, and are reviewing other areas, including aquaculture, and energy co-generation. AVG are actively investing and expanding into new projects in food production and processing.
