BA Capital Partners Europe (BACPE) is the private equity investment division of Bank of America. In Q3 2006, Banc of America sold 80% of its stake on the secondary market to investors led by Credit Suisse, Partners Group and Pantheon Ventures. Other investors include Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns, Fondinvest Capital and Pomona Capital. The firm was renamed ARGAN CAPITAL.
