Bpifrance Investissement is the investment arm of Bpifrance. It was established in December 2012 following a merger between CDC Entreprises, FSI, FSI régions and Oseo. It is designed to support small and medium sized businesses and provide seed capital towards companies and industries it feels will become market leaders. The firm also invests in small and medium-sized companies based in France that need capital for expansion, succession or buyout operations through its Bpifrance Investissement Régions programme.
