Capital D is a pan-European private equity firm co-founded by Jean-Marc Jabre, former head of Morgan Stanley's private investment team in Europe, and Stephan Lobmeyr who is a former partner at consumer sector-focused pan-European private equity fund manager Change Capital. Capital D invests €20 to 60 million in profitable (i.e. minimum EBITDA of typically €2 million) European disruptive businesses where it aims at being the lead investor, typically taking a majority stake, to help management grow their business towards a leadership position in their sector or sub-sector. Through its approach of embracing disruption, Capital D aims at being the partner of choice for talented entrepreneurs of the European mid-market which have proven business models that are disrupting an established industry.
