Catapult was formed in October 1999 by Mike Piper and Rob Carroll. The firm facilitates communication between companies and business contacts and professional advisers across the East Midlands. Aside from managing its own funds, Catapult also acts as an advisory body for the GLE Development Capital fund.In September 2013, Catapult Venture Managers (CVM) announced that it combined its operations with Opus Ventures and will be called Catapult Ventures Group.
