China-Africa Development Fund (CAD Fund) was established in 2007. The government agency promotes the economic cooperation between China and Africa by pushing Chinese and African enterprises to reach their cooperation targets and facilitating infrastructure construction. It also enhances the social and economic development of African countries in agriculture, manufacturing, energy, transportation, telecommunications, infrastructure, and resource exploration sectors.
