Cimino & Associati Private Equity S.p.A. (CAPE) is the largest Italian system of funds, one of the 10 first Italian operators, which invests equity in small and medium size companies operating in Italy, mainly through buy-outs. It is made up of 40 professionals, including Cape Regione Siciliana, Cape Live, and the International Branches (Cape China and Cape India). Through its network of local investors, Cape takes advantage of an extremely full and varied deal flows in terms of investment opportunities, as the negotiation for the acquisition of companies with exclusive trade rights based on very interesting prices. Established in 1999, when Simone Cimino launched Cape’s first fund with a group of private investors, the firm is the first company in Italy which has listed 4 companies (3 IPOs in 3 years).
