DAR Capital Group is an India-based firm that has subsidiaries involved in film production and distribution, commercial agriculture, fine art and private equity fundraising. DAR Capital Group also makes private equity investments in companies. In 2013, DAR Capital Group raised DAR MentorCap Film Fund in collaboration with MentorCap Management. The two firms set up Creative Collaboration Advisors to evaluate and manage the fund's investments. The fund has been renamed as Dar Media Fund and its objective has also widened. The INR 1 billion vehicle has a greenshoe option of a further INR 1 billion. It will not take stakes in companies, but instead, will fund film projects in India.
