DEFI Gestion is a Switzerland-based private equity and venture capital company. The firm invests in the medical technology, biotechnology and other life sciences sectors. DEFI Gestion has two teams, one of which handles buyouts and the other venture capital investments. Two thirds of funds are invested in buyouts and one third in venture capital. For buyout investments DEFI Gestion prefers to invest in companies based in Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy and the Benelux. For venture investments the firm prefers to invest in French-speaking Switzerland. TThe firm does not invest in real estate development.
