Fiera Comox was established in 2016 by Fiera Capital, a TSX listed leading investment management firm, and Comox Equity Partners, a corporation formed and owned by three former executives and investment professionals of PSP Investments, a large Canadian pension investment manager. Fiera Comox funds will invest in agricultural land and rural producing assets primarily in the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, with an objective of generating cash yield as well as capital appreciation The firm aims to deliver attractive long-term returns while preserving capital and investing responsibly.Under the leadership of Mr. McLernon, the members of the management team founded the Natural Resources asset class at PSP Investments in 2011. The management team grew PSP Investments' portfolio into a CAD 3.0 billion portfolio of timber and agriculture assets in less than five years and acquired over 2.0 million acres of timber and agricultural land in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Brazil.
