The firm make intermittent investments in other parts of the globe, with both US and UK-based firms included in its portfolio. Typically, Grupo ECOS makes late stage investments with minority shareholding; however it makes active contributions to its portfolio companies. The firm splits its key investment areas into two groups, forestry and sustainable development.
