Hyderabad Information Technology Venture Enterprises Limited (HITVEL) is a private equity firm initially promoted in 2000 with an initial mandate of INR 150 million by Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC), Andhra Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (APIDC) and the Small Industries Development Bank of India (Sidbi).In August 2007, HITVEL became a subsidiary of Srei Infrastructure Finance after its private equity arm, Srei Venture Capital, acquired a 51% stake in the firm. It is now wholly managed By Srei Venture Capital.
