Incitia Ventures is an independent Norwegian venture capital firm focusing on investing in sectors where technology can make significant commercial impact. The firm invests in venture-stage technology companies that either are developing commercially attractive, disruptive technologies and/or are positioned for high growth, in the midst of building a strong market position. It invests in a variety of sectors including IT and telecoms, life sciences, oil and energy, and cleantech. Incitia Ventures seeks opportunities in companies targeting a real unmet need within a large market, in the late seed to late venture development stage, with a proprietary and commercially attractive technology platform, and funding requirements of minimum NOK 10 million.In June 2014, Incitia Ventures decided to discontinue their current activities and from 1st July, Contango Kapital, assumed the role of managing the remaining portfolio companies from Incitia Venture's second fund.
