Founded in 1979, Industrial Technology Investment Corporation (ITIC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), an industrial research consortium in Taiwan.Since its inception, ITIC has been instrumental in leading Taiwan's initial ventures into technology-based businesses. Historically, it focused on investing through in-house capital; however, in recent years, it has extended its investment business to venture capital fund operations. ITIC invests primarily in Taiwan, but also in selected international areas such as US, Canada and Israel.
