In April 2002, UBS Capital sold Phildrew Ventures, its UK mid-market buyout house, to a group of five of the business's partners for less than GBP 5 million. The company was renamed IRRfc. IRRfc invested in some follow-on investments in portfolio companies.The firm no longer manages private equity funds and now acts solely as an advisory firm.
