Established in 1954, Korea Development Bank (KDB Bank) is a government-owned bank that aims to develop domestic industries and the overall economy through the provision of a full range of financial services, such as international banking, investment banking, corporate banking and consultancy. The bank’s private equity arm, KDB Private Equity, was founded in 2004 to manage vehicles which seek to raise capital from third party investors. It participates in a wide range of investment opportunities, including buyout and venture investments.
