Established in March 2011, RRJ Capital is a private equity firm based in Hong Kong. RRJ focuses on buyout, PIPE and special situation opportunities in Asia, particularly China, Indonesia, and Malaysia. It is also interested in ASEAN markets or non-Asia-based companies that are looking to expand to Asia. The firm, however, does not invest in India. RRJ targets a diversified range of industries, including agriculture, consumer products, healthcare and financial services sectors. The typical size of each deal is approximately USD 50 million to USD 3 billion.
