Formerly known as Shinhan Private Equity, it was renamed Shinhan Alternative Investment Management in 2017 in order to expand the firm as an asset management company specializing in alternative investments. The firm primarily focuses on buyout investments, while open to growth investments, in both domestic and international markets.
