Sindicatum Carbon & Energy Management (SCEM) is the investment management company of Sindicatum Sustainable Resources, one of the global project developers in the climate change mitigation industry. SCEM is dedicated to the Istithmar & Sindicatum Climate Change Partnership, a co-investment fund that finances the creation of low cost clean energy projects registered with the United Nations. Sindicatum’s areas of specialty are mitigation of coal mine methane and landfill gas emissions, less carbon-intensive energy and industrial emissions, and environmental technology commercialisation. Within its clean technology division, Sindicatum focuses on waste heat recovery, combustion control systems, high efficiency lighting and motor systems, and renewable energy systems, including biomass and geothermal.
