As of February 2013, Sino-Swiss Venture Capital Fund Management (SSVC) was unlikely to remain operationally active in the private equity asset class. It was established by China Development Bank (CDB) and the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of Switzerland (SECO). SSVC supported Chinese enterprises with foreign funds. The firm aimed to encourage small- and medium-sized companies from Switzerland to increase the level of their direct investment in China.
