Steps Ventures is an Israeli venture capital investment group founded in 1992 by I.B.I., one of Israel's largest private brokerage and investment houses, and two individuals - Yoav Kaplan and Meir Kfir. In 1996 Arison Investments, owned by the Arison family, came on board and purchased 41% of Steps' shares. Steps Ventures is focused on identifying Israeli startup companies in the fields of software, telecommunications and semiconductors.
