The firm does not have a sector focus, but preference will be given to companies with a strong management team or entrepreneur at the helm, good cash flow, international expansion focus and sustainable competitive advantages. The firm do not pursue deals involving turnaround efforts (distressed companies restructuring) and start-up or early stage deals.On 30th July 2013, Sofipa SGR S.p.A. and its controlling company Synergo 2 S.p.A. merged into Synergo SGR S.p.A..
