The firms’ private equity investment strategy is to acquire controlling or significant interests with board representation in stable, mature, well-managed businesses.In March 2018 Abraaj freed investors from their commitments in Abraaj Private Equity Fund VI due to an investigation into the use of capital in the Abraaj Healthcare Fund. The firm is not currently raising any capital. As of 18 June 2018 Abraaj Holdings went into provisional liquidation. The firm is no longer active.
