The firm aims to support national economic growth and to spur job creation by accelerating the growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). It provides support in the form of equity funding, strategic and financial advisory, business development, market access and entrepreneurship mentoring/coaching. Its approach includes growing enterprises organically and merging synergistic entities in view of creating enlarged entities fit for IPO listing.In July 2019, SME Corporation Malaysia has launched the SME Investment Partner (SIP) Programme, a co-funding initiative with the local private sector. It has appointed Warisan Quantum Management and RHL Ventures to manage the investment fund that has a total corpus of MYR 90mn.
