Yaletown Venture Partners is a Canadian venture capital firm that invests in seed and early stage technology companies in Canada and US Pacific Northwest. The firm prefers to lead or co-lead initial round investments and partners with additional venture firms to provide capital in follow-on rounds. Yaletown has two themes of focus: sustainability innovation and intelligent enterprise. The former encompasses clean technologies, whilst the latter includes ICT companies focusing on software (SAAS), internet of things and big data analytics. Yaletown does not invest in consumer, social, and digital media business models.
