YankeeTek Ventures makes investments in early-stage technology companies in the semiconductor, communications and networking, eBusiness infrastructure, application software and services, and emerging technology sectors. YankeeTek works with start-ups in the New England area so that they can be closely involved in the development of their clients company. In exceptional cases, the firm will consider investments outside of this area. As at February 2005, YankeeTek Ventures has decided to close its doors, after being unable to raise its second fund.
