PineBridge Investments (“PineBridge”) is a private global asset management firm. It is majority-owned by a subsidiary of Pacific Century Group (“PCG”), an Asia-based private investment group. Prior to the organization’s sale to PCG in March 2010, PineBridge was part of AIG Investments, the investment advisory and asset management businesses of American International Group, Inc. (“AIG”). PineBridge Investments was formed in January 1996, with the consolidation of AIG’s various investment entities into a single platform, sharing common investment, trading and compliance systems and reporting to a common functional management team.
